Inside an NFL Player’s Battle with Crohn’s Disease

Final thoughts about Crohn’s Disease

Final thoughts

Seantrel Henderson’s coach, Sean McDermott, says that he is happy with the job that Henderson has done following two surgeries related to the diagnosis. Coach McDermott stated: “I like how he’s handled it—[he’s] certainly a good athlete.” Having a supportive group has helped Henderson immensely, and McDermott also stated: “We know what he’s dealt with off the field at times and so that’s part of developing the overall player.” The goal is for Henderson to return to right tackle following a five-game suspension.
