Learn to Rely on Others
It goes without saying that fibromyalgia is a really tough condition to live with; the pains can often drain the person to the point of needing assistance to perform the most basic tasks. Furthermore, in the same way, a person sometimes can rely on others to take care of any physical activities, they will also need to learn to properly voice their feelings and to vent with those willing to lend a helping ear. Nowadays, fibromyalgia is more common than ever, and most people are familiar with the disease and how it can affect those that suffer from it; some of them might even be willing to sit down and listen to the problems which might be affecting the patient. In this sense, it could definitely benefit the patient to explain their situation to them, as they can act as great emotional support to get through rough patches.
