The Legacy Foundation and International Biophysics have partnered to bring AffloVests to patients
An AffloVest is a portable vest that promotes airway clearance in order to loosen and get rid of mucus that accumulates in the lungs. It has 8 oscillating motors - each motor creating 8 individual pressure waveforms and targeting different parts of the lungs. The vest is light, quiet, and comes with 3 intensity levels – soft, medium, and intense.
