Becky Faller always thought “success equaled money” but learned from her illness to “to slow down and realize I am worth so much more than money.” Alyx Mendoza saw her mom pass at just 42 years old of lupus-related problems. She is strong in her conviction when she says, “Lupus isn't going to sneak up on this girl. It will have to work harder than ever to put me out. I know I may not live to see a cure, but I hope I see the day when everyone is aware of this terrible bully of a disease.”
