Lupus Survival Rates Plateau Over Last 9 Years

Identifying Symptoms

Early Identification: In a perfect world, everyone would be able to self-diagnose themselves and compile their own treatment plant. Lupus, while not quite the level of a silent killer, is a silent attacker with symptoms very similar to other common diseases. Symptoms of Lupus include:

  • Feeling more tired
  • Pain
  • Rash
  • Fever
  • Stomach Ache
  • Headache
  • Dizziness

Many of these symptoms are that of the common cold, flu, allergic reactions, and many others. Being able to stop these warning signs by seeing a doctor immediately will help increase survival rates among those pre-diagnosed with Lupus. “Flares” as these symptoms are also called, can be better managed and have a less severe impact when identified early on in the diagnosis.
