Former MLB Player Breaks World Record to Raise Money for Lymphoma Research
Monoclonal antibodies could have more than one purpose
Some monoclonal antibodies such as rituximab and brentuximab vedotin are being used to treat specific cases of Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Researchers are now studying if these drugs may be helpful in other ways, such as given earlier in the course of the disease or given as part of the treatment before a transplant. Several new monoclonal antibodies are now being studied as well.
