Immune checkpoint inhibitors could be used in many different ways

Researchers are currently studying different ways to use immune checkpoint inhibitors, which lymphoma cells sometimes use to avoid being attacked by the immune system. Drugs that block these checkpoints are now being researched as possible maintenance therapy to keep Hodgkin’s lymphoma from recurring after transplant. They are also being tested as the initial treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
