10 years later: Another, unsettling diagnosis
In August of last year, 10 years after receiving the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, Michael Ellenbogen received yet another diagnosis. This one would once again throw his life into a tailspin. The advocate and a public face for Alzheimer's didn’t actually have it. Unlike the relief he had felt ten years earlier when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, suddenly, Michael Ellenbogen was back to not knowing what he had, why he was suffering from it or, how to treat it.
