12. Being intelligent (but not bragging about it)
You should never have to tell someone you're intelligent. It's just one of those things where, if it can't go without saying... it might not be true. (Like claiming "I'm so mature for my age!" or the ever-notorious "I can't stand drama!"--You know what we mean.)
OK--with all of that cleared up, intelligence is sexy. And intelligence matters. One study concluded that, no matter if a woman is looking for a one-night stand or marriage, she prefers an intelligent partner. But sometimes there's a fine line between intelligence and cockiness, and each person will react differently to how their partner crosses that line.
