Muscular Dystrophy Research in Veterinary Medicine Authorized for Human Clinical Trials

Final thoughts

There are shades of gray that people need to accept for the greater good. Not all the pictures were true; the dogs under the research project of Dr. Kornegay are treated with the utmost care. While it is true that Dr. Kornegay breeds the mildly affected GRMD dogs for the purposes of the research, it is also important to be aware that not all puppies born have GRMD. Yes, the breeding practice raises a lot of eyebrows, but the possibility of curing children suffering from DMD, as the children or their parents will say, is also a worthy cause.
