Roberts' study

Roberts’ study spanned over 24 years and observed over 54,000 women, all of which were gauged for PTSD and traumatic experiences using the Short Screening Scale for DSM-IV PTSD, as well as the Brief Trauma Questionnaire. Across the time spanned by the study, the participants were regularly examined and tested for SLE using the American College of Rheumatology criteria.
