Parkinson's Rock Steady Group Comes Out On Top in Big Dawg Dare Obstacle

This inspiring group of patients prove that nothing is impossible

Tremors and muscle stiffness make it very easy for patients to pass on anything that may put a strain on their body. It comes with a fear making things worse, either through an injury or the thought that the disease will worsen with intense physical activity. This makes people with Parkinson's play it safe and stick to simple activities.

This race proved that patients could accomplish what they thought would be impossible. Some of them thought that their body wouldn't cooperate with them to even do the race, let alone completing it. However, participating in a challenging race, like a mud run or obstacle course, pushes people outside of their comfort zone.
