Sleep Apnea and Engineers: Is It Safe to Travel by Train?

Proper screening is not a federal requirement.

However, in cost-cutting efforts, President Donald Trump allowed individual railroads to determine whether to conduct sleep apnea testing. He scrapped a proposal from President Obama’s administration that required sleep apnea testing.
