A further understanding of sleep apnea
Sleep apnea is a certain type of sleep condition in which the patient will experience interruptions in their breathing. The halt in their breathing while they sleep can last anywhere from seconds to minutes, and it can pose other health concerns if the sleep condition is not treated. There are two different types of sleep apnea, which consist of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and central sleep apnea (CSA). The two have distinct differences of where the condition derives from, however they both result in an obstruction of breathing while sleeping.
