The companionship he found was unlike anywhere else
Riddle stressed that the companionship on ‘American Ninja Warrior’ was unlike anything he had experienced in any other sport. “I felt sometimes like going through other sports that I didn’t necessarily fit in with the teammates that I had; our mindsets weren’t exactly the same,” he said. But now, the individuals he trains and competes with are his best friends and they continuously cheer one another on. “When you combine all of that together, it’s very much like a family. Out of all the people I’ve ever met doing the sport, very few I feel like I didn’t have a positive encounter with,” he said.
