Riddle has an “immediate group of ninjas” – individuals he trains with on a frequent basis. “It’s so cool that we come from such different backgrounds,” he said, but they share a common bond in conquering the ninja warrior course. “This is what all those late-night hours are for. This is what all those early mornings are for. This is what passing on that extra doughnut at lunch is for. This is everything. We put our bodies into this. We put our hearts into this. We put our minds into this,” he said.
