Do not spend too much time staring at a screen
Spending too much time on your phone, computer, or television can have detrimental effects to your health. You need to distance yourself as much as you can for various reasons. For one, social media has been scientifically shown to increase depression in its users, often resulting in anxiety, "fear of missing out," or a feeling of worthlessness when comparing oneself to others. Second, sitting around is horrible for your health. You need to walk around at least every half hour, which many of us forget to do. It can also lead to bad posture, which hurts the joints and muscles as we age. Staring at screens is also very damaging to your eyesight, which cannot properly handle the blue light that is emitted. Conditions like carpal tunnel can also occur when too much time is spent on these activities.
