Being a parent isn’t about taking your kids to amusement parks and buying them fun things to do. It is above all else about being there, about being present and available to your kids. Parents who do not have MS often struggle to be present, missing games and occasionally birthdays to work and business. The best parents are the ones who are there, and who want to be there. Use your MS symptoms as a way to be creative with your children, not as an excuse for not being present.
