Tips for Parenting with Multiple Sclerosis

Final thoughts

Final thoughts

You may see your symptoms as a constant reminder of what you cannot do, but there are plenty of low-impact activities that you can do when symptoms flare up. Parents with MS can have a backup stash of board games, movies, or toys to break out whenever symptoms prevent them from physical activity. What matters to a child is being able to ask their parents questions and being able to talk to them about things that they are thinking about. No matter what managing your MS looks like, you can find rest in knowing that simply being there, telling your children that you love them, and being honest with them will lead to a healthy and flourishing family.
