However, some situations dictate that a supervisor would need to share information about a medical condition. Personnel who are in charge of safety and administering first aid need to be informed in the event of an emergency. Also, when government agencies or insurance companies are checking for compliance with ADA, then that information would need to be disclosed only to those who are conducting the investigation.
