One of the most interesting aspects of studying music as a healing resource is how beneficial it has proved to be for people suffering from Alzheimer’s. A good example is Carol Daly, a 74-year-old woman who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when she was 62 years old, more than ten years ago.

Dr. Jon Lapook, CBS News chief medical correspondent, followed the relationship between Carol and her husband Mike for the past 10 years.
