What Does it Take to Be the LLS's Man or Woman of the Year?
Fundraising helps patients in many different ways
Once all that money is raised, what happens to the funds that come from the Man & Woman of the Year competition? The money is used for so many different things that benefit patients suffering from blood cancer. It could go to help promote research that focuses on finding targeted immune-based therapies that save thousands of lives, fund education and support for patients with leukemia or lymphoma, and support political policies that make sure access to treatments are fair for all.
