What's the Overlap Between Stress and Parkinson's Disease?

Parkinson's Disease and Progression

As Parkinson's disease progresses in many individuals, the effects of stress can become apparent. Knowing when to seek proper help and dealing with the earlier stages can make transitioning easier for many of those facing the daily issues that comes with a PD diagnosis. It is important for those who have Parkinson's to discuss options with their doctor if they are feeling different not only physically, but mentally as well. It can be startling to feel new changes when diagnosed and as stages go on. Attempting to understand these changes and early/late stage detection is a consistent driving force within the Parkinson's research field. If the progression is not addressed, this can only add to already growing symptoms physically and mentally.
