A phone call to unite two families
Concerned for his friend, Ian told his mother, Kathy Ryan, about his friend’s eating habits. Together they found the phone number for the Kalnins family so he could tell Mason’s mother that her son was not eating what he thought were proper lunches.
Mason’s mother, Kristine Kalnins, appreciated Ian’s effort, and so invited him over and explained autism to him.
