Young Athlete with Hodgkin Lymphoma Gets Back in the Race
Her university was supportive
But through it all, Colleen says that she had never felt more love and support from the community around her. During the time of her relapse with Hodgkin lymphoma, she received more than 200 letters sent to her from teammates, other athletes, friends, and even coaches at the Michigan State University. Colleen feels so blessed to have such a supportive college community to help cheer her on in her race against cancer.
