Anthony and Ryland stay positive
Despite the challenges associated with living with cystic fibrosis, both Anthony Zimmerle and Ryland Gallagher do their best to maintain a positive outlook. In a lot of ways, both boys live a relatively normal life, with a few exceptions. As his grandfather noted, Anthony has to undergo daily treatment and maintain a cocktail of medications to maintain his health. For both the boys, there’s also the ongoing risk of developing infections in the lungs that could be serious and potentially debilitating.
