Non-UK statistics

These are promising findings in comparison to non-UK statistics. According to the U.S. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Patient Registry, more than 30,000 people in the U.S. are living with CF in The States, while there are 70,000 worldwide. We are informed that approximately 1000 new cases of CF are diagnosed in the U.S. each year with the incidence of CF being 1/2500 live births. The current life span for people with CF in the U.S., who live to enter adulthood, is reported to be “about 37 years."
