Father and Daughter Diagnosed with Breast Cancer "Comfort Each Other"

In the US, thousands of men will be diagnosed with breast cancer each year

When it comes to breast cancer, we must push past the notion that the disease only affects women. Although less than 1% of breast cancers occur in men, breast cancer in men does occur and it can impact both physical and mental aspects of everyday living. This year, statistics for male breast cancer in the United States reveal that over 2,500 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed and around 480 men will pass away from breast cancer. Arnaldo and Vanessa’s relentless commitment to spreading the word on male breast cancer and educating the general public has inspired more male breast cancer survivors to come forward and share their stories. From diagnoses and mammograms to treatments and beyond, conversations relating to breast cancer must be continued now and always.
