Individuals who are healthy tend to perceive medical conditions as they are written on the internet – most commonly on Wikipedia. Seeing the words “an inherited and long-lasting disease” relates to cystic fibrosis, but it is not the whole story. Each individual case of CF varies. “The Wikipedia article contains outdated information and sweeping generalizations that don’t apply to every CFer. Let us explain the disease on our own terms.
