If you are new to exercising, starting slow is probably a good way to begin. The last thing you want to do is overdo it and make your UC symptoms worse. Additionally, consulting your provider beforehand could be a good idea. They can help you find an exercise routine that will meet your needs. Any amount of exercise is better than none. If you lead a pretty sedentary life, starting simply by walking is an excellent idea. As you become accustomed to exercise, you can up the ante and increase the intensity gradually.
