Recent Breakthrough Increases Efficacy of Cystic Fibrosis Drugs

This study is vastly important, not only for cystic fibrosis research, but for the whole of how treating diseases is viewed. Before trying to produce new drugs, these scientists have shown that there may be equal, if not more, validity in trying to find out why the preexisting treatments are having issues, or varying levels of efficacy. By offering a supplement to enhance the treatment, more patients will be able to benefit from the drugs already approved and on the market.
