How Jordin Sparks Contributed to Lymphoma Awareness Month
Everyone is affected by cancer in some way
Jordin shared that everyone is affected by these devastating illnesses, including herself. Though she herself wasn't diagnosed, someone she cared for deeply faced the battle against cancer. Her mom's friend had fatal melanoma, and her great-grandfather died of pancreatic cancer. On this earth, everyone knows somebody that has either been personally affected by cancer.
Jordin said that by helping others, she has learned lessons about community and empathy.
