Living Their Best Life
The best part of physical activities is getting friends and family involved, the emotional toll the disease takes on both the patient and the patient's family shouldn’t be discounted. Getting all parties involved in various physical, social and expressive activities gives everyone a chance to blow off steam and creates bonding moments. Thanks to new therapies, people with MD are living longer lives. Some have gone off to university, gotten married and started families of their own. People with MD can enjoy the same things that people without the disease do, they may go a little bit slower and do things somewhat differently, but their lives are filled with great experiences as well.
