Teen Celebrates First Year of Lymphoma Remission on Daffodil Day

Caitlin's treatment

Upon freezing her eggs, Caitlin received 8 rounds of chemotherapy and made frequent visits to see her doctor. Despite her condition, she was able to graduate with the rest of her classmates. At the age of 17, Caitlin celebrates 1 year in remission on Daffodil day, August 25th, 2017. Daffodil day symbolizes a significant cancer awareness day around the country. Wearing a daffodil, fundraising, volunteering or donating on this day helps individuals with cancer now and in the future.

“I think the key to my recovery was my family and my friends” Caitlin said.
