Alzheimer's is a disease that's hard for patients and experts to understand

Everyone knows that Alzheimer's is a tricky disease to understand. With this disease, it's hard to separate what is fact and what is fiction, and it even stumps the greatest specialists in the medical world. The cause of the disease is still unclear; sometimes it could be linked to genetics, and other times it could be linked to an unhealthy lifestyle. However, even the healthiest person can fall victim to Alzheimer's.  

We know that the disease eats away at the brain, making it impossible to retain information. Patients can lose their memory, independence and eventually their ability to communicate. Today, researchers are attempting to find ways to prevent it and cure it.
