A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes: The Annette Funicello Story is a 1995 movie that follows the life of Annette Funicello, an American TV and music idol, and her hardships with MS for over a period of 25 years. She keeps her disease from the public for several years; however, she finally tells the truth when individuals start to mistake her difficulty with walking (a symptom of MS) for having an alcohol or drug abuse problem.
