Is Frankincense Oil a Reliable Natural Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatment?

More about the study

Dr. Emma Blain leads the study with colleagues Dr. Ahmed Ali of the Compton Group and Professor Vid Duance from Cardiff University’s School of Biosciences and says that the search for finding new ways to relieve the inflammation of rheumatoid arthritis has been a long and often difficult once.

The Somali community of the South West of England and Wales have been using frankincense extracts as a traditional herbal remedy to treat arthritic conditions for a very long time and the researchers of this study wanted to know if it actually had benefits.

The study was focused on whether or not the extracts reduced inflammation and pain that is associated with rheumatoid arthritis and believe that it truly does relieve those symptoms.
