Don't forget about all your paperwork

While you might think after your cancer treatment is done you can throw all those papers away, and you will not need the same kind of medical insurance as before, you will. It is very important to keep your insurance, and continue to keep constant medical records for them. After all, tests and doctors visits will still be a high cost, even if they are not as frequent as before. Also, unfortunately, you never can be certain whether or not the cancer will come back, in which case you will be happy to still have your health insurance.

After your treatment is completed, you may go to doctors who have not been treating you for as long, as your new life may take you to different placed. As such, it is of the utmost importance to keep up-to-date records that you can offer any new doctor you might see.
