11. Feelings of breathlessness
If you experience losses of breath, these are often results of panic attacks that may be stemming from your romantic issues, especially if the relationship is toxic.
If the loss of breath occurs when you are physically near your partner, as if you cannot fully breathe the way you do at all other times throughout your daily life, this means that your nervous system is kicking in as a result of fear of that person. Other effects are chest tightness and sweaty palms. You should never be afraid of your partner, and this is a sign to leave, as chronic stress can do serious damage to your health.
