Sometimes, Brad also feels that being called a hero defines him by his illness. It was the opposite of being able to live a relatively normal life. Brad reminds us that not every patient wants to be a hero, and that's okay. Some people have already suffered and lost so much, that all they want in life is to live as normal as possible.
