Actamin Maximum Strength is used for the relief of conditions which cause congestion and subsequently result in pain. This combination is effective in the management of conditions like sinusitis, stuffy nose, cold, hay fever and allergies.

Decongestants used commonly include phenylephrine or pseudoephedrine which causes narrowing of blood vessels resulting in clearing of nasal congestion. However, this effect may cause increase in blood pressure.

Analgesics used in this combination include acetaminophen, ibuprofen or salicylates which decrease headache and sinus pain.
