Generic: Guaifenesin

Guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps loosen phlegm or mucus or thin bronchial secretions in lung conditions including chronic bronchitis. This drug is available as a 200 mg tablet or as a liquid containing 100 mg guaifenesin per 5 ml.
