Hepsera

Hepsera is a drug used in the treatment of chronic/ long term Hepatitis B. This drug is available as a tablet containing Adefovir dipivoxil 10 milligrams.

Missed dose

Interactions

Hepsera may interact with medications such as:

• Tenofovir
• Aminoglycosides such as:
  • Gentamicin
  • or Amikacin
• Amphotericin B
• Cyclosporine
• Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as:
  • Ibuprofen
• Tacrolimus
• Vancomycin

Side Effects

There are no side effects known aside from a possible allergic reaction in people who have previous or unknown hypersensitivity to the drug.

Watch out for signs of allergic reactions such as:

• Rash
• Itching
• Swelling
