Jay-Phyl is a drug which is used to treat the symptoms of asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. This drug is available as a 100mg-50mg/5ml syrup.

Interactions:
Jay-Phyl may interact with medications such as:
- Lithium
- Bupropion
- Isoniazid (INH)
- Phenothiazines such as thioridazine
- Tramadol
- Tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline
Side Effects:
There are no side effects known aside from a possible allergic reaction in people who have previous or unknown hypersensitivity to the drug.
Watch out for signs of allergic reactions such as:
- Rash
- Itching
- Swelling

Before taking this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have the following:
- Allergy to Dyphylline or Guaifenesin
- Allergy to similar drugs such as theophylline
- Heart problems
- High blood pressure
- Kidney disease
- Seizures
