Access to patient-friendly information is a must
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Community is run by LLS Executive Research Director, Larry Saltzman, M.D. Saltzmann is a 63-year-old former family physician from Sacramento, California, who found out he had had small cell lymphocytic lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia in January 2010. As both a physician and a patient, he knows personally how important it is to have a supportive community to share information, experience, and strength.
Through the new collaboration with Medivizor, members of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society received the new benefit of having access to breakthrough patient-friendly medical information and research.
