Narcissists are incredibly self-absorbed and have an incessant need to be right about everything. The only opinion that matters to a narcissist is his own. Other people’s thoughts, feelings, opinions, and desires are insignificant to a narcissist. His own opinions, wants, and needs are all that matters.
A narcissist expects others to listen to everything he has to say and accept his word as gospel. Yet, he will never show others the same courtesy or respect. He has no interest in hearing what other people have to say, because he’s convinced he already knows everything. He won’t waste his time considering other people’s opinions or feelings, because he is absolutely certain that his own opinions are superior. In his mind, he's always right. He always has been and he always will be.
