Nurses Say That Health Policy Awareness Improves Quality of Care
Though this path has helped Susan's quality of care, she admits that public policy is not for every nurse.
Despite her continued efforts, victories, and failures, Susan states that this path is not for everyone. While her journey has taken her across several fields, organizations, and all sorts of bureaucracy, she also emphasizes the importance of nurses out in the field, providing care to anyone who needs it. Nurses, according to her, are still very much needed in the communities. However, she also says that, in order to provide better care and safeguard the nurses’ health as well, every professional in the field must be aware of public policies at all times.
