Nursing Schools Start to Tackle the Opioid Epidemic in Their Classrooms

Washington State Community College teaches their nurses about Naloxene.

The nursing department in the Washington State Community College in Ohio recently developed a practical approach to opioid overdose management. Students are required to watch a video called "Substance Use Disorder in Nursing” and also participate in opioid-related discussions. The students will also be taught on how to administer Naloxone.
