Try to find your balance between your work and personal life
- Engage in other activities: You need to make sure you get enough sleep, eat healthy, and exercise a little every day. Try not to be too hard on yourself, and take time for yourself. Yes, nursing is your life, but it shouldn’t be your entire life.
- Set boundaries: If you need to leave work by a specific time to pick up your kids or get to a school function, but you find you are finishing up later than your time to go, then you are letting the system take advantage of you.
