What stressed you out? Write down your stressors and do your best to avoid them
- Take an inventory of what causes you stress: Write down those stressors. Think of a way to reduce one stressor a day. One thing could be as simple as asking someone for help.
- Unplug daily: Smartphones keep us available 24/7. So, you should use parameters. Make it a point to have no cell phones at dinner time and no technology at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
- Delegate where ever possible: If you are doing tasks at work that a CNA can do instead, delegate them. You should not add someone else’s work to your load. If your home life is causing you stress, check with friends and relatives and ask for some help.
